Day 1 — | Arrival in Muscat – Muttrah & Souq

Muttrah Corniche & Muttrah Souq – Stroll along the seafront promenade overlooking the harbor and explore one of the oldest souq in Arabia. Enjoy narrow alleys filled with silverware, frankincense, antiques, textiles, and aromatic spices.

Day 2 — Muscat City Tour

A full-day guided tour of Muscat’s most iconic landmarks:

Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque

A magnificent example of contemporary Islamic architecture, home to a famous Persian carpet and a breathtaking prayer hall of marble and geometric artistry.

Bait Al Zubair Museum

A restored Omani mansion showcasing traditional weapons, costumes, and cultural heritage.

Royal Opera House Muscat

Oman’s premier arts venue, the Royal Opera House Muscat, features Islamic, Oriental, European, and Mughal-inspired motifs, innovative stage technology, and a rare instrument collection.

Al-Alam Palace

The Sultan’s ceremonial residence, famous for its stunning blue-and-gold façade.

Day 3 — Muscat – Bimmah Sinkhole – Wadi Shab – Sur – Ras Al-Jinz

A photogenic limestone crater filled with turquoise water, said in legend to be created by a “falling star.”

Wadi Shab

Witness traditional dhow-building craftsmanship passed down through centuries.

Ras Al Jinz Turtle Reserve

Day 4 — Wadi Bani Khalid – Wahiba Sands (Sunset)

Day 5 — 18 Jan 2026 | Wahiba – Ibra – Nizwa – Bahla – Jabreen (Approx. 270 km)

• Morning dune bashing in 4×4 vehicles across the desert.
• Drive to Ibra / Mudayrib to explore traditional neighborhoods and watchtowers.
• Arrive in Nizwa, the cultural heart of Oman.

Discover Oman’s heritage at Nizwa Fort and Souq, where history, traditional architecture, and vibrant local markets come alive.

Bahla Fort

A UNESCO World Heritage mud-brick fortress of medieval significance.

Jabreen Castle

Day 6 — Nizwa – Misfat Al Abriyeen – Jebel Shams – Balcony Walk (Approx. 180 km)

Misfat Al Abriyeen

A beautiful mountain village of stone houses, falaj-fed gardens, and panoramic viewpoints.

Jebel Shams (Grand Canyon of Arabia)

Ascend to Oman’s highest mountain and prepare for the iconic hike.

Balcony Walk (W6 Trail)

A breathtaking rim walks along Wadi Nakhr cliffs, leading to abandoned cliffside settlements.

Overnight: Jebel Shams

Day 7 — Al-Hamra – Birkat Al Mouz – Jebel Akhdar – Return to Muscat

Al Hamra

One of Oman’s oldest villages, known for mud-brick structures and palm groves.

Birkat Al Mouz

Famous for mountain-fed falaj irrigation channels and abandoned mud villages.

Jebel Akhdar

Drive into the highlands to enjoy terraced farms, pomegranate orchards, and spectacular views. Return to Muscat by evening.

Overnight: Muscat

Day 8 — Day at Leisure (Muscat)

Relax and enjoy Muscat at your pace — beach time, souq visits or simple rest at your Hotel.

Day 9 — Sunset Dhow / Ad Dimaniyat Island (Muscat)

Hotel: Muscat, Meal Plan: BB

Choose between a serene sunset dhow cruise along Muscat’s coast or an adventurous day at the pristine Ad Dimaniyat Islands.

Day 10 — Departure – Transfer to Muscat Airport

Departure transfer to Muscat airport to board your flight for onward destination.
