DAY 01 | ARRIVE IN MUSCAT
Arrival at Muscat international airport. Upon arrival meet and greet after the immigration formalities. Transfer to Muscat Hotel of your choice. (check in time 1400 hrs.)
Lunch at hotel of stay
1530 hrs. – Pick up from hotel and proceed to visit Bait Al Zubair Museum with its wealth of information and exhibits on the country’s culture, tradition and heritage
The we will proceed towards the colorful Muttrah Souq (marketplace). To reach there we drive along the waterfront cornice following a picturesque road where we can look out at the Gulf of Oman. After making a short stop at the bustling Fish market we explore the many wares available at the Mattrah Souq (Marketplace), where you get a feel of the traditional Arab market.
Afterwards we visit the official residences of the His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said, the magnificent Al Alam Palace, which is situated right in the heart of Muscat. It is surrounded by the Al Jalali and Al Mirani forts on two sides, and while the palace itself is not open to the public, tourists can walk around the yard and gardens in front of the palace and click photos here.
Later back to hotel .

DAY 02 | MUSCAT – WAHIBA DESERT
0900 hrs. – After breakfast we will proceed to visit to the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, the largest mosque in Oman, and one of the most popular places to visit in Muscat. Accommodating up to a stupendous 20,000 worshippers at a time, the structure features a blend of various architectural styles, which is highlighted by its beautiful décor and the spectacular crystal chandeliers and handmade Persian rugs here, which are some of the largest in the world (FRIDAY CLOSED)
Notes: Grand Mosque is open from Saturday to Thursday from 0800 – 1100 hrs only (last entry at 10:30 hrs). Ladies visiting the mosque are required to cover their head with scarf and do not wear shorts, beachwear or sleeveless outfits as they are to be fully covered. Also need to be covered from head to toe. Men are also to be full covered, though short sleeve shirts are allowed for men. Slip on shoes recommended as one has to remove to enter the mosque .
After visiting Mosque, we will drive to Wahiba Sands. The Wahiba Sands, a vast mass of undulating red and white sea of sand and dunes rising up to 200 meters are also host to a variety of flora and fauna. The ever-changing patterns of the dunes are a photographer’s delight. Experience a roller coaster like feeling. Enjoy stunning sunset views at the desert.

DAY 03 | WAHIBA DESERT – MUSCAT
Morning check out from the hotel and depart to Muscat enroute visiting Wadi bani Khalid, a beautiful oasis in the middle of barren mountains. We stop here to relax a bit and enjoy a swim in the beautiful turquoise pools.
As we continue from here the road winds through mountain terrain offering breath-taking glimpses of the blue waters of the ocean enroute. Along the way, visit Wadi Tiwi (Photo stop), a canyon with imposing rocky walls that encloses lush plantations of dates and banana trees and an interesting traditional village.
Photo stop at Wadi Shab (walking inside Wadi is not suggested in April as it is very hot & humid). Later visit Bimah Sinkhole, an incredible natural well with waters of incredible blue shades. In fact, forty meters wide and twenty meters deep, the well was formed according to geologists due to a collapse of a limestone cave.

DAY 04 | WAHIBA DESERT – MUSCAT
After breakfast check out from hotel (Check out time 1200 Hrs.)
Later in time departure to Muscat airport to board your flight for onward destination
