Welcome to Bousher Dunes
This tour provides us with many interesting contrasts.
We proceed towards the quaint fishing village of Quriyat through the stark mountain terrain. From there, we head towards the scenic coast to visit the spectacular Bimah Sinkhole, a limestone crater with blue-green water at the bottom. We then drive through the picturesque village of Wadi Tiwi, set among date palms beside the mountain, with a spectacular photo stop at Wadi Shab.
Continue your journey towards Sur, an established center for trade with East Africa. Today, the city retains its reputation as a major dhow-building town.
Enjoy a visit to the Sur Dhow Factory (closed on Fridays).
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Stop at Fins Beach before driving back to Muscat.
Special Note-
Transfer from Muscat (One way) would take around 3.5 hrs by Saloon Car.
It is advisable to wear light comfortable clothing and walking shoes.
