Nestled amidst the rugged Eastern Hajjar mountains, this coastal gem beckons with smooth roads, rocky vistas, and glimpses of traditional mountain villages. As we wind through narrow valleys, the ancient Quriyat Fort stands as a silent witness to centuries of history. Explore the town, breathe in the salty sea air, and soak up the coastal vibes.
Bimah Sinkhole: Nature’s Aquamarine Wonder Our route hugs the picturesque waterfront, revealing an inland stream teeming with life. Keep your eyes peeled for graceful flamingoes and majestic eagles. Soon, we arrive at the Bimah Sinkhole, also known as Bait al-Afreet. Imagine a colossal limestone crater filled with crystal-clear blue-green water—a natural marvel that leaves visitors spellbound. Wadi Arbayeen: Oasis Amidst the Mountains Buckle up for an adventurous mountain drive as we ascend towards Wadi Arbayeen. Homeward Bound As the sun begins its descent, we bid farewell to Wadi Arbayeen and trace our way back to Muscat. Along the scenic drive, catch glimpses of Wadi Mazara and other captivating sights. Remember to wear comfortable clothes and sturdy walking shoes—the journey promises both adventure and serenity.
